On Sunday 5th September 2021 there was a Grand Opening Ceremony held for the refurbished former telephone kiosk on St James Street.
The kiosk was officially opened and named as ‘The Dunwich Exchange', a wonderful village asset to enable villagers and visitors to share items and information.
Chairman, Rod Smith, dedicated a poem to the opening, Reverend Tim Rogers blessed the former kiosk and Heather Cook cut the ribbon to formally open the facility.
Many villagers gathered to toast the opening, on a glorious sunny morning, a joyful atmosphere with thanks expressed to Rod Smith, John Cary and the volunteers who contributed with their time, ideas and energy. A lemonade toast & nibbles was enjoyed.
